Unexposed five year old from the Ben Clarke yard who makes third start today and remains open to plenty of further progress. Second on both occasions so far but has been progressive on the figures and sets the standard on the figures also. Receiving weight from the other horse at the head of the market and that could make a big difference today. Further progress highly likely today and has come course experience on her side from debut run. Yard ticking along very nicely and Sam Twiston-Davies gets the ride and he has an exceptional record here at Plumpton with a 35% strikerate at the track in the last couple of years. Looks to be between Secret Des Lune and the Moore trained Double the Dance but Secret Des Lune is taken to come out on top. Likely winner.

Seeing Stars looks primed to finally get her head in front after three consecutive runner-up finishes. The form of 222suggests a win is long overdue, and today’s race looks weaker than those she’s been contesting recently.

She does have a wider draw to contend with, but that’s far from a deal-breaker at Kempton, especially with Luke Morrisaboard — a jockey who excels at delivering hold-up horses late. With further natural progression expected, Seeing Stars sets a strong standard and looks the one they all have to beat.

Verdict: Should take plenty of stopping and looks a confident NAP.

Nine year old Benignitas might be 0-14 under rules, but has gone close on a number of occasions, including two starts ago over C&D when second of nine. The two runs either side of that were less impressive, but both over longer trips she just doesn’t seem to cope with. Returns to the 2m3f trip today and at a course she enjoys and looks well handicapped. This is not a strong looking race and we are likely to see this mare return to form today over this ideal trip. Will handle the soft to heavy ground absolutely fine and has a better chance today than her odds might suggest. Rian Corcoran retains the ride and she’s finding plenty a winner at the moment. For a small yard, the Treacy’s are enjoying some success and that is certainly a further positive for Benignita’s chances today.

Six year old La Marquise hasnt quite shaped with the promise of previously recently with form of 18543, however is well treated, looked much better lto at Wetherby first run after a wind op and looks primed for a big run. Placed in a Grade 2 at Aintree last April and is more than capable of winning in this sphere. Will appreciate the conditions today and the drop back in trip looks more of a positive than anything. Represents a good yard who have a fantastic record here and has the benefit of Joe Anderson aboard today and his 3lb apprentice claim. Likely to go very close today.

Pretty open race here in the 4.30 at Ffos Las and one looks a very solid proposition is six year old Sioux Falls from the Williams yard. Low mileage and very unexposed and has been progressive so far in first three starts under rules Was not far away at all when third lto at Sedgefield over this trip and this is a relatively weak entry point into handicaps for this boys handicap debut. Yard have a decent record recently for a smaller operation and look to have found Sioux Falls a cracking race to go handicapping in. Very decent chance.

Has experience at this track and ran well here previously. Has an ok draw from stall 5 and this definitely not a warm looking race. Very fair, almost lenient opening mark and this three year old looks set to take advantage. From a yard in good form with a 38% fortnightly strikerate and they are no strangers to success at this track either. Good jockey aboard in Richard Havlin and this three year old has a great chance of winning today.

Generally loves this course and sneaks into a 0-50 today off a mark of 50 and looks a very likely victor in a weak race. Well drawn from stall 3 and tends to start very well from low draws and will be very tough to peg back. Looks well treated still in this race and has the benefit of a top jockey today in Billy Loughnane who has a good record here and has won nearly a third of his rides in the last month. Kento has strung a few strong performances together recently and is taken to continue in that vain. More than capable of winning this race and won’t be surprised if he does.

Progressive youngster whose form has improved with every run, culminating in a solid win at Chelmsford last time out. This looks a sensible next step and further progression is expected. Despite a wider draw, Billy Loughnane knows this track well and Aneirin’s Sword looks a major contender again.

Lady Wingalong – 8.00 Kempton (6/1)
Consistent mare who has been knocking loudly on the door with recent form of 3324. The return to 7f looks a positive and she’s likely to be ridden positively. The booking of Rossa Ryan is eye-catching and could be the key to finally converting a near-miss into a win.
