Reason for Tip

Pretty open race here in the 2.20 and the bookies are paying 4 places as it stands. Market has already seen some money for Torneo who’s into 8s from 11/1. Torneo is a consistent type who generally gives a very good run, but did fall on final run last year at Ayr. Returned this year at Wetherby when running very nicely and jumping well to finish second. Torneo is versatile to the ground and has won on soft before back in January this year so the soft tacky ground we are likely to see here shouldn’t be an issue for him. This boy has lots of ability, is generally quite a clean chaser and will no doubt be involved here today. Yard are having a fantastic time of things at the moment and top jockey aboard Torneo today in Gavin Sheehan who has a 26% strikerate whilst riding Snowden trained horses. There is a lot to like about the chances here today and at 8/1 still represents good value and should be running into the places at the very least.
