Reason for Tip

Four runner field in the 4.30 here at Wincanton and Queens Gamble might be top weight and conceding all round but it’s for good reason. Remains pretty unexposed over fences and has contested much deeper races than this previously including two listed events and one of them was a win at this track back in February when Queen’s Gamble left short odds on favourite Bluey in the dust. Close second behind a massive improver lto at Doncaster in a class 2 and looks a very strong prospect today on drop back down in class. Trip and ground are ok and this eight year old is a very strong and reliable jumper who looks set to win this race under a solid ride from Paul O’Brien. Likely winner.

⭐ NAP of the Day

Our NAP of the Day is Milan Tino in the 4.30 at Chepstow.

This looks a great opportunity for the Tom George trained six-year-old to return to winning form. Since switching to fences, Milan Tino has shown admirable consistency with form figures of 4142, and he was only narrowly denied last time by a very well-handicapped rival.

This five runner race doesn’t appear to contain anything capable of producing a serious challenge if Milan Tino runs to his usual level. The horse remains on a workable mark, runs over his preferred trip and the forecast soft ground should play to his strengths.

Another big positive is the booking of Harry Cobden, one of the most reliable jockeys in the weighing room. Cobden boasts a strong record at Chepstow and his presence in the saddle adds further confidence.

With conditions in his favour and limited opposition on paper, Milan Tino looks the most likely winner on Sunday’s card.

Reason for Tip

Wide open race here in the 4.20 and one who looks a bit of a dark horse is Golden Millie from the Horsford stable. Has been a little out of sorts of late but has a couple of things today that may spark a revival. Returns to Ffos Las for the first time since debut run at this course when when Golden Millie won and also goes chasing for the first time today. The fences may bring with them some form. Trip and ground should be suited and has a very decent booking in Charlie Deutsch. This isn’t a strong race and it won’t taken this eight year old a huge return to form to be featuring and challenging. Outside chance, but a chance nonetheless.

🎯 Dark Horse

Our Dark Horse racing tip for today is Far From Dandy in the Irish Lincoln at 4.20 Curragh, currently available around 14/1.

Heavy ground is expected and that could have a major impact on the outcome of this race, with many of the fancied runners unlikely to relish the conditions.

Far From Dandy, however, handles deep ground well, which could prove a decisive factor.

The four-year-old ended last season with a Dundalk double before finishing sixth last time out when encountering trouble in running. Despite that interference, he was only three lengths behind the winner, suggesting he remains competitive off his current mark.

Today is a step up in class, but the draw in stall 1 is a big advantage, and he represents a stable that has been quietly picking up winners in recent weeks.

If the race becomes a test in the heavy conditions, Far From Dandy could outrun his odds and challenge late.

Reason for Tip

Pretty open affair here in the opener at Ffos Las and a horse who’s been consistently strong when last seen is Yanka Blue from the Murphys yard. Knocked on the door the last twice with a pair of second place finishes and remains on a very workable mark. Has not been seen since December and makes stable debut today. has gone well fresh previously so no great concern there and trip and ground look well suited. Solid booking in Tom Cannon and this race won’t take a great deal of winning and Yanka Blue is set to do just that.

Reason for Tip

Largely consistent type over the last 9 months or so and whilst hasn’t won in that time has posted some strong efforts and form reads 4234. This trip is shorter than perhaps ideal but the good ground is perfect and should help counteract the trip. Will need a strong ride over this trip but has a great jockey aboard in Tom Bellamy who knows how to get the job done. Remains on a very workable mark and this is a weak race. Yard have a very good record at this track and Tom is a jockey in very good form. Plenty of positives today and looks a likely winner.

Three year old Blues and Royals has been highly progressive in first four starts with form of 8731. Only raised 3lb for the win lto and whilst it wasn’t by a huge margin, there was fuel left in the tank and theres more to come from this youngster. Mark looks defiable and returns to turf today. Has the plum draw on the rail from stall 1 and has a top jockey aboard in Hector Crouch. Hector hasn’t ridden here a great deal in the last couple of years, but does boast a 25% course strikerate in that time period. Yard going nicely and Blues and Royals frankly looks the one to beat today.

Reason for Tip

Low mileage four year old who bids for hattrick here today after picking up wins at Nottingham and over C&D here when last seen back in November. Forecasted ground is good for this which is a big positive for this boy off this mark and he’s looked a very tough nut to crack when given an easy time out front. Likely to see similar tactics from a quick start out of stall 1 and the only real question today is freshness. Yard have a good record with horses returning from breaks so that’s a positive and has a very good jockey aboard in Callum Rodriguez who’s riding very well at the moment. Callum has a near 30% strikerate at this track and generally does very well for the Bethell yard. Hattrick looks very much on the cards.

Three-year-old Breaking Dawn represents the in-form Michael O’Callaghan yard and looks ready for a big run in what appears a fairly open race. While an O’Brien runner heads the market, that debutant does come with question marks. Breaking Dawn has the benefit of experience and a top jockey in Colin Keane, and if he breaks well from his draw he could prove the most consistent option in the field.

Tobyshill – 2.22 Market Rasen (3/1)
Tobyshill made a strong impression when winning on Irish point debut before finishing a respectable third in a competitive Class 3 novice at Ascot on his first start under rules in England. That race looked stronger than today’s contest and the drop in class could be key. With the in-form Brian Hughes booked, this improving six-year-old is a major contender.

Analiese – 3.55 Chepstow (10/3)
Analiese has been extremely consistent since November, producing form figures of 2112 in her last four runs. She was denied a hat-trick last time by a progressive rival, with the pair pulling well clear of the rest. Raised just 2lb for that effort, she still looks well treated and this race appears slightly easier. With Charlie Deutsch in the saddle, Analiese looks the form horse in the race.

Jaipaletemps – 5.05 Chepstow (10/3)
Another consistent performer, Jaipaletemps has recorded form of 31142 since December. He finished second over course and distance last time in what looked a slightly stronger race than this. The return to Class 4 company should help and the re-booking of Rian Corcoran, who claims 7lb, makes him even more competitive. With the yard in good form and a solid record at Chepstow, he looks a serious contender.
