The 4yo filly showed considerable promise during her light juvenile campaign, winning nicely at Wolverhampton and placing well over this exact course and distance. Although she disappointed slightly when stepped up in trip at Chelmsford on her final start last year, dropping back to a flat mile should suit her perfectly. She races off a mark of 85, which could still underestimate her latent ability. With senior jockey Jack Mitchell booked to ride, and the stable boasting an excellent recent strike rate, this well bred daughter of Camelot has all the right credentials to start her 4yo campaign on a winning note.

It’s easy to forget he was only narrowly denied in Group company in France just two starts ago, a performance that would make him extremely difficult to beat if reproduced here.

James Doyle takes the ride and, with conditions expected to suit far better this evening, Native Warrior has every chance of bouncing straight back to winning ways.

With Saffie Osborne booked and momentum firmly on his side, he’s the type of runner capable of causing a surprise.
