You can safely draw a line through his latest run on soft turf at Chester, as the testing ground was clearly against him. Reverting to his preferred All-Weather surface tomorrow, he should find conditions much more to his liking. Running off an opening mark of 77, he remains completely unexposed on polytrack and represents the powerhouse stable of Charlie Johnston. With veteran jockey Pat Cosgrave in the saddle, Showcasing Star has excellent prospects of bouncing back to form and looks ready to make a major impact on his handicap debut at a big price too.
