NFL Week 3 Preview and Analysis

The 2025 NFL season rolls onwards this week into week 3 following a fantastic couple of weeks of fixtures.

After cashing in on a tidy 4/1 Moneyline acca winner in Week 1, we followed that up with a 3.6/1 winner in Week 2 meaning we are 2/2 on Moneyline Acca’s this season! Week 2 gave us a better understanding of whether some teams are legitimate or just pretenders and it also gave us some bad news for our long term season bets, with Joe Burrow looking like he will be sidelined for 3 months with turf toe and ligament damage. The Eagles beat the Chiefs in a close game meaning Kansas drops to 0-2 while the defending Superbowl Champ Eagles power onto 2-0. The Bills won comfy in Week 2 maintaining their good start and the Colts needed a 2nd attempt field goal to beat the Broncos to maintain their impressive start to the season.

Heading into Week 3, we should be looking to see patterns of form and teams performances become a lot more consistent with the increased play time with each other.

Detroit Lions at Baltimore Ravens → Huge primetime matchup: Jared Goff and the Lions’ offense vs. Lamar Jackson and the Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium. This could be one of the best games of the week.
