The Coin Toss has become one of the most entertaining ways to start the superbowl given you are already invested in a bet! While there is an element of logic to many of the proper bets we will post about, this one is purely off instinct and history, given the nature of it being pure 50/50.
When betting this market, we look into the previous years as that is really the only valuable information that can be used, while in reality it is purely a 50/50 market.
There is an opinion and theory that rather than it being 50/50, there is actually a 51/49 logic that it ends on the side that it started on, however we will not know that until it is too late to bet on.
Our selection this year is TAILS.
Tails holds the historical advantage on the coin toss with it being 31 for tails, 28 for heads. A small advantage, but a trend none the less.
An interesting note to keep an eye on is that WHOEVER wins the coin toss, loses the Superbowl. This is a trend that has been apparent since 2014 where the Seahawks won the toss and won the superbowl. Who’s in the superbowl this year? The Seahawks…
