Three year old from the formidable O’Brien yard who has ran three times with form of 323. Open to much further progression on handicap debut and enters on a rather generous mark. Beautifully bred and upped in trip today which is not a negative, should handle it absolutely fine. Heavy ground is a question mark but relatives of Saratoga have handled it nicely and so shouldn’t be any issues. Most unexposed horse in the field and already has some of the nicer form available compared to some. Wayne Lordan aboard who is currently on a 42% fortnightly strikerate which is the same strikerate the O’Briens have at Listowel. Looks the winner and should be winning.

Hostility made his stable debut for the O’Meara yard last month after moving from Ireland and shaped well when third here at Redcar. He’s expected to strip much fitter for that run, and today’s conditions look ideal. O’Meara and Tudhope both boast excellent records at Redcar, and this looks a perfect opportunity for Hostility to get off the mark for new connections.

Three year old from the Hitchins yard who has had 16 runs in her career and as of yet hasn’t won a race. However, in defeat so far she has been consistent and regularly among the placings. Form reads 43343 and today looks a great opportunity to get that first win. Not the best draw but capable of getting out early on moving from midfield so can overcome that. Another considerable factor is Jack Nicholls riding, he takes off 5lb with his allowance and thats a lot considering she was placing so regularly off a mark of 63, now down to 60 for this run and has Jack taking off 5lb. Capable of winning this.

Once disappointing for the Moores, Heaven Smart showed clear signs of revival on stable debut for Laura Morgan when finishing fourth at Perth. Since then, a wind operation could unlock further improvement. Runs off a very workable mark today and has the excellent Brian Hughes in the saddle.

👉 Why it’s the Dark Horse: Lightly treated at the weights, back at a track where he ran well, and potential post-wind-op improvement makes him an outsider worth backing.

Beautifully bred two year old colt out of Dark Angel who ran a creditable race on debut when finishing third. Progressed brilliantly lto on second start when winning nicely at Brighton. Concedes weight all round here but looks the star of the show in this company and would be no surprise to see him win quite comfortably. Slightly shorter trip here today but that’s no real concern he has plenty of speed in pedigree. Yard in solid form and Marco Ghiani has a 29% strikerate here at Beverley. Looks the winner.

Four year old with mainly consistent form this year bar the 11th at Uttoxeter two starts ago. Yet to win but has been competitive and is likely to win soon if not today. Mark is very tempting and the Murphy yard have a good record here. Window Of Time was a short price beaten favourite lto when going down second at Worcester but that shouldn’t be the case today. Weaker race and ideal ground all stand this four year in good stead. Sean Bowen aboard who is arguably the best in the business at the moment and has a 36% strikerate in the last fortnight as well as a fantastic course record.

Some similar unexposed types in this race who could all improve also but Luzon Heights has at least shown his progressive nature. Yard is having a good year with two year olds and could notch another win today. Hector Crouch aboard which is a positive and is riding plenty of winners currently. Big player at a nice price.

Four year old from the Stott yard who has developed a clear preference for the AW. Recent turf runs have included a tenth and an eleventh placed finish. Return to the tapeta lto was more encouraging when finishing fifth here. Runs on same surface here again today and that’s a positive. We know True Promise has ability, but some unfortunate races and turf make the form not pleasant reading. Represents a strong yard with a good record here and has a good jockey aboard for the steering. Very open race this, and True Promise looks to have every chance.
