He ran with massive credit on his handicap debut at Epsom 25 days ago, finishing a respectable fourth in a much tougher Class 2 event over ten furlongs. Stepping down to Class 4 company today will make life significantly easier, and the move up to a stiff mile and a half is expected to suit his pedigree perfectly. In a highly competitive and compact five runner field, he should thrive on the sounder turf and find the race dynamics much more to his liking, making him a major player to bounce back and secure a first career win.

She switches back to turf in this Class 6 classified stakes, which represents a massive drop in grade and a highly winnable opportunity in this sphere. Crucially, she loves the fast summer ground at Bath, having finished a close second on firm ground over course and distance last summer. With the Group 1 winning jockey David Egan booked to ride, she is extremely well placed to capitalize on this drop in class and is fully primed to run a massive, highly competitive race on a surface she absolutely relishes this evening and is more than capable of outrunning her odds.

Back over 2m and running off a workable mark with a handy 7lb apprentice claim, Vocito looks very dangerous at a double-figure price. The Murphy yard are flying, and this course suits his running style perfectly.
