Unexposed three year old from the Williams yard who has shown plenty of promise in first four starts. Form of 3413. The third here at Chelmsford lto in October was first run for 9 months and should strip fitter for that here today. Finished very strongly in that race and posted the quickest time over the final furlong. A sharper 5f doesn’t look out of reach and this was the trip Cherry Cobbler won over two starts ago. Remains open to plenty of further progress and this youngster is far and away the most unexposed horse in the race and has some of the best form available. Good draw in stall 3, great jockey in Rossa Ryan and will be very hard to beat today. Looks the winner.

Unexposed and improving, Cherry Cobbler has shown plenty in just four starts (form 3413). His third at Chelmsford last time came after a nine-month break, and he flew home with the fastest final furlong in the field — a huge sign of latent ability.

Dropping back to 5f, the trip he won over two runs ago, looks ideal. With a perfect draw in stall 3, a top jockey in Rossa Ryan, and significant scope for more progress, he is by far the most unexposed and dangerous horse in the race.

Looks the winner.

Reason for Tip

Somewhat the grandfather of this field, Caro Des Flos is 13 years old and about 5 years older than the next oldest horse. However, he has won the last two runnings of this race and more often than not runs very well here at Market Rasen. Remains on a workable mark and will be fine on the ground. Represents a yard with decent success at this course and has one of the best around aboard in Ben Jones who is consistently riding very well. Can’t write Caro Des Flos off here who has been primed with a run out earlier this month and is capable of another big run in a race he loves. Big price, but not without chance.

A veteran at 13, but a course specialist who has won the last two runnings of this race. He saves his best for Market Rasen and remains on a workable mark. The yard performs well here and Ben Jones is an excellent booking, riding confidently this season.

He arrives fresh — and that’s normally when he’s most dangerous, proven by his win off a 588-day break previously.

Big price but far from without a chance in a race he loves.

Six year old Reforme has looked much better this term since returning and has been highly progressive with form of 521 since September. Got up to win lto at Fakenham despite some challenges in running and looks set to build upon that. Runs in the same class here today on firmer ground overly a slightly shorter trip and looks capable of another big run here. Has a good jockey aboard in R T Dunne who has won aboard Reforme previously. Yard are ticking along quite nicely for a smaller operation and this six year old shouldn’t be far away today and isn’t out of the picture at all.

Three year old Lunar Orbit was previously contesting contests on the flat, but albeit not overly convincingly and was 0-7 in that discipline. Has ran three times over hurdles so far since with form of 2p3 since and looked good for a long way lto at Fontwell. Has had wind surgery since which should help this three year old and Lunar Orbit has the benefit of Sean Bowen aboard who is one of the best in the business and has an exceptional record here at Market Rasen. Looks the likely winner further improvement in a rather ordinary race.

Dirty Den is nothing if not consistent and form of 12322 shows that. Versatile five year old from the Hosie yard who you can almost guarantee will run a solid and clean race. Has ran twice this season far when going down second in both and whilst raised a little for those results, remains on a workable mark and remains a danger. Trip and ground are fine and P Hanlon takes off 5lb with his apprentice claim. Lots to like here today and should be competitive once more and can take this at a nice price.

Bint Al Darr’s form of 70620 doesn’t look much on paper, but four of those starts were in higher classes and most of them were class 2. On last start at Wolverhampton in October she was only a head away from winning in this grade and looks a player now returning to a class 5. This five year old does have ability and is on a good mark and it would be foolish to write her chances off based on form alone. Should resume good form in this race today and has a good jockey aboard in Jack Mitchell. Would be no surprise to see Bint Al Daar contest this and a win is definitely possible if positioned well at the break.

A progressive 6yo with form 521 since returning in September. Won despite trouble in running last time at Fakenham. Same class, similar conditions, jockey knows him well. Yard going smoothly.

0–7 on the flat but improving over hurdles with 2P3. Travelled strongly for a long way at Fontwell and has since had wind surgery — usually a big help. Sean Bowen takes over, and his course record at Market Rasen is exceptional.

Ultra-consistent (form 12322). Two strong seconds this season and remains on a workable mark. Versatile, honest, and has P Hanlon removing 5lb, which strengthens his chance.

4️⃣ Bint Al Daar – 8.00 Chelmsford – 9/1 ✔️ (Corrected)

Her form 70620 is misleading — most runs were in higher-class company, including several Class 2 races.

Last time at Wolverhampton she was beaten only a head in this grade, showing a big step forward.

Back in Class 5, running off a fair mark, and with Jack Mitchell — a top Chelmsford rider — taking the reins, she now gets a realistic winning opportunity.

If breaking well and securing a forward position, she is a major danger at a big price.
