Progressive young filly from the Channon yard with form of 8452 who looks the type to keep that momentum going. Does get a slightly shorter trip today and goes over 5f for the first time which seems a positive if anything. Course debut but has an experienced and strong booking in Kieren Shoemark. Plum draw and should be quick away and can take advantage of that. Still very unexposed, proven progression and this looks a good step forward and a race that is very winnable for Raveena. Looks the winner.

Raveena is a progressive young filly who continues to move in the right direction with each run. Her recent form figures of 8452 don’t tell the full story, as she has shaped better than the bare results suggest and looks ready to strike.

She drops back to 5f for the first time, which looks a positive given how strongly she has travelled over further. The draw is ideal, and with Kieren Shoemark booked, she should be sharp away and well positioned from the off.

This is a very winnable race, she remains unexposed, and further improvement is expected.

Noticeably huge odds here with 40/1 at the time of writing, but this race bar the odds on favourite looks pretty wide open for the other two places and it may just suit eight year old Mr Zee. Previously won at Taunton earlier this year and he will compete on any ground so the forecast soft is no concern. He is now below last winning mark and looks pretty well treated now. Has shown progression as mark has fallen and last three starts have been 074 and he is taken to keep that improvement going. Bookies paying three places and off this mark, that isn’t out the question and at a huge price. Decent jockey aboard in Rex Dingle and quite frankly Mr Zee looks in a better place than some of these opponents despite the odds. Capable of winning races of this calibre off this mark and whilst likelihood is fighting for the place money, even that at these odds is a big return. Outside chance, but a chance.

Mr Zee is priced up at huge odds in a race where, outside of the odds-on favourite, things look far more open than the market suggests.

A previous Taunton winner, Mr Zee handles any ground and now finds himself below his last winning mark. His recent form of 074 shows quiet improvement as his rating has fallen, and the forecast soft ground is absolutely no issue.

With bookmakers paying three places, he looks more than capable of getting involved for place money, and at 40/1, even that would represent excellent value.
Big outsider, but not written off.

Six year old Von Krolock is an ex-irish boy who now resides with the James Owen yard. Progressive on all three starts for new stable culminating in a win lto at Wolverhampton. Remains well treated and looks capable of another big run today off this mark. Does have a wide draw to contend with but generally starts well and best results have been from the front so will likely press for an early prominent position. Eireann gets the ride today for the inform Owen yard and Von Krolock looks a major player in this.

Largely consistent chaser with form of 2P343 and has two wins in this code previously. Returned for seasonal debut lto at Ascot and finished a credible third of nine that day. Likely to strip fitter here and whilst it’s been a little while since entering the winners enclosure, looks primed to strike again off this mark. Versatile to the ground and the forecast soft is arguably a positive, as is the straight 3 mile trip. Represents a shrewd yard with a good record here and has a decent booking in Jack Tudor. Lots to like and should be heavily involved.

Good form earlier this summer when form read 122 at Wolverhampton. Fifth and sixth in two starts since and should be bouncing back today. Proven ability and the last race in particular seemed a little bit of an anomaly so chance taken at these odds that she goes well again today. From a strong yard, with a great booking in Saffie Osborne and both have decent records at this track. This is arguably a weaker race than previously and looks to be Noisy Music’s chance to return to the form of a few starts ago.

Three year old who is yet to deliver a win in nine starts, however has been knocking on the door recently with back to back second place finishes in last two runs. Goes off the same mark again today and looks a big danger to this field which isn’t quite as strong as the race at Kempton last time. Has a good draw out of stall 3 and the trip is ideal. Top jockey aboard in Harry Davies who is a man in form and Hinchinbrooke looks set to get that first win imminently, and there is a good chance it’s today.

A progressive ex-Irish runner who has taken very well to life with the Owen yard. Improved with each start for the stable and got the job done nicely at Wolverhampton last time.

Still looks well treated, likely to go forward early, and although drawn wide, he usually breaks well. The Owen yard is flying and Von Krolock looks a major player again.

A consistent chaser who returned from a break with a solid third at Ascot. That run should have brought him on nicely, and he now drops into a race that looks very winnable.

The straight 3m suits, soft ground is a plus, and the Pipe yard know exactly how to place these types. Looks primed to strike off this mark.

3️⃣ Noisy Music – 3.22 Southwell – 8/1

Jockey: Saffie Osborne

Showed strong form earlier in the year with a 122 sequence at Wolverhampton. Two quieter runs since but shaped as though a return to form isn’t far away.

This looks a slightly weaker race, she’s proven at the track, and Saffie Osborne is a big positive booking. At the price, she looks capable of outrunning odds.

4️⃣ Hinchinbrooke – 8.30 Chelmsford – 7/2

Still a maiden after nine starts but has gone very close recently with back-to-back seconds. Runs off the same mark again and now drops into slightly weaker company.

Good draw, ideal trip, and Harry Davies is riding with confidence. Everything points towards Hinchinbrooke finally getting off the mark.
