Reason for Tip

Ran a very nice debut when finishing strongly at Newbury last month to finish third of 13. Second start here for this two year old and it’s a very winnable race. Has some of the better form of the ones who’ve ran and the Haggas horses aren’t strangers to vast improvement on second start and so progression is highly likely. This isn’t an overly strong race and looks to be between Masked Warrior and the Beckett youngster who both head the market at around evens, however Masked Warrior is more unexposed, arguably nicer on breeding and represents a very inform yard with a red hot jockey aboard in Cieren Fallon. The Beckett colt hasn’t progressed as some may like and so Masked Warrior looks the likely winner here on second start.

Ran a very promising debut when finishing strongly to take third at Newbury last month and looks primed for a big step forward on second start. Represents the Haggas yard, which has been in superb form, and has a top jockey in Cieren Fallon doing the steering.
This race looks between Masked Warrior and the Beckett runner, but the Haggas colt has greater potential and should improve plenty with that debut experience.

Unexposed two year old from the Evans yard who has ran four times in career so far with form of 4250. Handicap debut here for this filly and it looks a relatively weak entry point that she can exploit. The form whilst isn’t overly pleasant reading, isn’t that much of an indicator for this, on first three starts she ran largely creditably and progressively and then got sent into a 21 runner Class 2 at York which was insurmountable frankly. Drops right back to more suitable waters in this Class 5 today and off this opening handicap mark she looks suited to this. Course debut but should appreciate the softer ground and trip is better now dropped back to 5f. Has an experienced jockey aboard in Marco Ghiani who is no stranger to a win here and Diamond Alexander has a reasonable chance at getting the job done today.

Reason for Tip

Not seen since March but has relatively strong form previously and ran his best races earlier in the season last year so this return to the racing now isn’t a negative and can go well fresh. Goes chasing today in a relatively weak race and down in grade from hurdles runs at the end of last year. This is a small field with one ahead of him in the market as we write this. Represents last years winning stable and the Owen’s look to have a big chance at a repeat with this five year old today who has enjoyed this course previously including a win at the track. One of the best in the business aboard in Sean Bowen who has a great chasing record here and is as usual very in form currently winning almost a third of his races. Major player today.

Four year old from the Boyle yard who hasn’t won since 2023 however as a result his mark is now back to a very workable mark. We’ve seen the fruits of the dropping mark on last two starts when finishing third and fourth and this boy isn’t going to take long to win again, and it could be today. Mark dropped another 1lb after lto which puts him right in the mix in this very ordinary line up. Versatile to the ground and is suited to today’s trip. Course debut at Nottingham today but has the benefit of Hector Crouch aboard who has a great record here and should increase this boys chances of getting the job done here. We’ve seen great improvement recently and with the mark being lowered again for this race, Son Of Man is a big player today.

Two year old Harrington trained youngster who ran a nice debut race when second of 13 at a warm maiden event at Curragh. Despite being green that day, ran on very nicely to finish the runner up and is taken to improve nicely here on second start in a rather gentle affair here today at Dundalk. Progression highly likely and both trip and ground seem favourable on pedigree. Represents a strong yard with a good jockey booking and this is open for the taking this race and Iron Lily looks a very likely winner.

Largely consistent three year old who was running well but not well enough with form of 32323 before the run last time out. Yard moved Club Class up in distance for the run last time and it worked brilliantly, Club Class finally got up to win and in rather nice style here at this track on last start and is taken to back that up with another here today. Runs over the same increased distance which from what we’ve seen is a huge positive and I doubt we’ve seen the ceiling of the ability just yet. Represents a shrewd and successful operation with a good booking in Jack Mitchell. Major chance.
