Trained by William Haggas and ridden by top jockey Tom Marquand, this 3yo gelding by Call To Mind is highly unexposed after just four lifetime runs. He ran with massive credit on his handicap debut at Epsom 25 days ago, finishing a respectable fourth in a much tougher Class 2 event over ten furlongs. Stepping down to Class 4 company today will make life significantly easier, and the move up to a stiff mile and a half is expected to suit his pedigree perfectly. In a highly competitive and compact five runner field, he should thrive on the sounder turf and find the race dynamics much more to his liking, making him a major player to bounce back and secure a first career win.

The colt has shown immense progression this year, crowned by a stylish Group 2 Juvenile Stakes win at Leopardstown last month. His figures were exceptional that day, and with further improvement expected, he sets the standard here.

Drawn well and representing elite connections, he looks a class above most of this field. Christophe Soumillon hasn’t had much luck at this track, but from stall 3, this colt should make his quality count.

Crucially, she loves the fast summer ground at Bath, having finished a close second on firm ground over course and distance last summer. With the Group 1 winning jockey David Egan booked to ride, she is extremely well placed to capitalize on this drop in class and is fully primed to run a massive, highly competitive race on a surface she absolutely relishes this evening and is more than capable of outrunning her odds.
