Reason for Tip

This seven year old has taken time to warm up this year but has found that first win when scoring in very nice style by over 4 lengths lto at Chepstow. Has managed to escape a penalty for that win and so remains on a very workable mark. This trip is within his ideal range and he gets the good ground he will want. He may be one of the lowest ratings in this race, but his form is red hot and he has been better and better on last few starts and that is likely to continue especially as escaping a penalty. Course debut at Kempton but shouldn’t pose an issue, yard have a strong record here and he has ran well going right handed on a number of occasions elsewhere. Yard and jockey both in very fine form and this boy looks a likely winner today.

Safe Destination found his stride last time out when storming home by over four lengths at Chepstow — a confident performance that showed his true potential. Crucially, he escapes a penalty for that win and remains on a very workable mark.

This seven-year-old loves good ground, and while it’s his Kempton debut, he’s performed consistently well on right-handed tracks. The Twiston-Davies team are in brilliant form, and Sam knows how to get the best out of this gelding. Everything points to another win here.

Reason for Tip

Wide open big field handicap here at in the 4.00pm at Leopardstown and with bookies paying around 5 places, there’s value to be found and one that catches the eye is six year old Titanium from the Murphy yard. Has a decent haul of 7 wins on the flat but hasn’t won in a while and as a result is a bit of a sleeper here with a falling mark and as a result is quite nicely handicapped for this. Now 13lb lower than last winning mark. Does like the ground on the softer side so some overnight rain would only further his chances. Has ran well here in the past including a win and he is capable of a big run off this mark. One of the biggest factors here I think is the jockey booking, Dylan Browne McMonagle is a top Irish jockey and one of only a couple in this race with any sort of strikerate here at Leopardstown. He could be the difference maker here today and as a result a chance is taken on this well handicapped six year old to at the very least run into the places at a nice price.

He’s no stranger to Leopardstown, boasting previous course success, and if the ground stays on the soft side, his chances improve even more. Dylan Browne McMonagle is one of the best in the business in Ireland and could make all the difference here.

Six year old who has looked a different horse since switched to chasing and the record of 3 wins from 6 starts reflects that. Has looked better and better and may not be done winning yet. This is a sterner test than previous races but she looks in fine form and ground is ideal for her today. Yard and jockey are both in sensational form and boast great records at this track. When combining here at Kempton they run at just under a 40% strikerate. Tougher task up in grade, but by no means ruled out and capable of taking it.

Seven year old with a fine record including 10 victories. Although not won super recently, has gone close in much sterner tests than this including when second in the Solonaway Stakes lto. Mutasarref avoids a penalty for that Group 2 second place on last start and looks the principle here today back down in grade. Has very strong course form with four wins at the track and won this race back in 2023. Represents a top trainer with a good record both here and in this race and if running to his best will be very hard to beat today.

Boston River has been a class act of late, particularly when completing hattrick in good style lto at Gowran Park on chase handicap debut. Still very unexposed as a chaser and further improvement is not discounted. This is a tough task today in such a big field but has ran well in large fields before including a win at Roscommon in June. Trip whilst further than recent runs is well within range and this six year old stays very well so should be involved come the final few furlongs and hopefully stay on to win. Yard after a slowish start to the season has found their feet and are in very solid form now which is a big positive for Boston River. Stable jockey Jack Kennedy aboard and he knows how to get the best from this boy. Major player.

Reason for Tip

Highly respected 9 year old who has been better than ever this year posting five consecutive wins. One of those was the Highland National at Perth in April and so he’s a proven stayer and this shorter trip should be no problem at all. Has never ran at Sedgefield before but that shouldn’t have too much if any impact as Fairlawn Flyer is a very versatile and reliable type who puts up a strong effort wherever he runs. Some slightly more unexposed horses in this field which pose some risks but his trainer is in good form and he has the ever impressive Sean Bowen aboard. Trainer and jockey combine very successfully and have a near 40% strikerate together and that partnership when running here at Sedgefield boasts a 50% strikerate. Should have his say and capable of taking this.
