NFL Week 4 Preview and Analysis

The 2025 NFL season rolls onwards this week into week 4 following a fantastic 3 rounds of fixtures.

After cashing in on a tidy 4/1 Moneyline acca winner in Week 1, we followed that up with a 3.6/1 winner in Week 2 meaning we are 2/3 on Moneyline Acca’s this season! Week 3 allowed us to see the full landscape of the NFL. You usually get a decent picture of who is good, who is bad and who has been rather unfortunate so far this season, giving us a better insight into which teams we can select for our acca’s in the coming weeks,

Heading into Week 4, the divisional matchups are beginning to take shape and this allows for a lot of rivalry games and close contents. We will look to exploit this within our bets.

🔍 Key Matchups to Watch

Vikings @ Steelers in Dublin — An international game adds extra intrigue. Steelers will want to defend home (though it’s abroad); Vikings getting sent overseas early could affect their performance.
Saints @ Bills — Buffalo is undefeated coming in. The line favours them heavily. Saint’s offense and defense will be tested against a top-tier team.
Browns @ Lions — Historically, Browns have struggled in Detroit. This gives the Lions a good edge at home.
Ravens @ Chiefs — Prime AFC matchup; both teams are likely looking to prove themselves early in the season.

Why Each Leg Makes Sense

Houston Texans Moneyline

After an 0-2 start, the Texans are under pressure. Stroud needs a signature game, and the team is more motivated. Despite his difficult start, CJ Stroud is still the better QB currently and Houston have a better team overall in comparison to the Titans who they are facing. With Christian Kirk healthy, the passing game has a better chance to function at a higher level.

New England Patriots Moneyline

Mike Vrabel has taken over, which often leads to a wake-up call for teams — a change of culture, energy, and scheme. With Josh McDaniels returning as offensive coordinator under Vrabel, there could be improved offensive creativity. Drake Maye is also proving to be a very valuable QB in this league, not only with his accuracy but ability to read defences. They face a Carolina side who have struggled so far this season, with a lot more being expected of their offence. This has not happened however and the patriots are good value here I feel.

LA Chargers Moneyline

The LA Chargers have arguably been one of the best and most efficient teams in the league. Quentin Johnson has become a standout on offence for the Chargers, a very good running game and a defence who is more than holding their own so far this season. Probably overachieving slightly based on expectations but there is always a few teams who do this. Justin Herbert is an elite QB and he should have the advantage over a Giants side who have also overperformed this year.

San Francisco 49ers Moneyline

The 49ers do seem to be one of the most unlucky sides in the league. Always close to greatness but always injuries in the wrong time of the season seem to derail them. This season, the injuries have come slightly earlier. However, they still look capable and will be coming up against a Jacksonville Jaguars side who is also underperforming. In what feels to be a make or break year for the Jags, Trevor Lawrence will need to start performing and quick. We like the overall value of the 49ers here.
