Dont regularly tip debutants for a NAP of the day but Spanish Waltz stands out here. The opposition in this race is frankly underwhelming and nothing form wise or breeding wise says any of these lot are up to much. Always a risk with a debutant but the Becketts are having a decent year with their two year olds and this youngster is nicely bred with plenty of speed and looks the pick of the field. Assuming Spanish Waltz isnt massively green on debut; looks the winner.

Seven year old who’s mark has quite simply plummeted from the face of the earth. Won at Windsor in October last year off a mark 12lh higher. No doubt another win will happen sooner or later off this lowly mark and Oliver Searle takes off an additional 5lb with his apprentice allowance. Not the strongest race here and Bama Lama may just be there or thereabouts today and we know she has the ability to win at this level, and theres a chance it could be today.

Two year old who was green on debut and didn’t progress on second or third start as much as you’d expect. However on fourth rub lto looked a much better proposition when running on nicely to finish second at Chepstow on handicap debut. Likely going to take another step forward today and remains ubexposed. Represents a big yard with a top jockey aboard and this race looks the one for the taking.
