Match Overview

Nottingham Forest have made a steady start to the new season, picking up four points from their opening two fixtures. A 3-1 home win against Brentford was followed by a point away at Crystal Palace. Forest also hold a strong head-to-head record against West Ham, winning the last three meetings.

By contrast, West Ham’s season has started in disastrous fashion. Defeats against newly promoted Sunderland (3-0) and Chelsea (5-1) left them bottom of the table. A 3-2 midweek EFL Cup exit at Wolves has only intensified pressure on Graham Potter, who is already under serious scrutiny. Another loss here could seal his fate.

Match Overview

Borussia Dortmund were involved in a thrilling 3-3 draw with St Pauli last weekend but paid the price with a red card for Filippo Mane. Prior to that, they beat RW Essen 1-0 in the DFB Pokal and will now look to register their first Bundesliga win at home this season.

Union Berlin arrive on the back of a 2-1 victory against Stuttgart on the opening day. However, their pre-season form was poor with four consecutive defeats, and facing Dortmund away remains one of the toughest tests in German football.
