Leg 1 – Premier League

16 Aug 15:00 – Brighton v Fulham (Premier League)

Venue: AMEX Stadium

Broadcast: Live audio available bet365

Match Overview;

Last season, Brighton finished just outside of the European qualifying spots in the Premier League table in 8th place and no doubt Fabian Hurzeler will be urging his players to go one step better this time around. The Seagulls ended last term with an impressive eight-game unbeaten sequence in all competitions, picking up six wins in the process while also enjoying a promising pre-season as the south coast side captured three wins in four warm-up games.

Fulham were not too far behind their upcoming hosts either as The Cottagers finished a creditable 11th place at the end of last season and just seven points shy of Brighton, and manager Marco Silva has transformed the London club from being relegation candidates to potential top half finishers. The visitors also impressed during pre-season as they registered three wins on the trot against the likes of Nottingham Forest, Al-Ittihad and Eintracht Frankfurt respectively, and theyve also been something of a thorn in Brightons side in recent times, losing just once in their last 11 meetings against The Seagulls.

Team News: Brighton will be missing Solly March, Adam Webster and Julio Enciso all through knee injuries while Jack Hinshelwood and Baleba are both rated as doubtful.

Fulham are likely to be without Antonee Robinson following knee surgery but Ryan Sessignon should be fit and start at left-back. Raul Jimenez will lead the line.

Predicted Line-ups (4-2-3-1 formation)

  • Brighton: Bart Verbruggen; Mats Wieffer, Jan Paul van Hecke, Lewis Dunk, Maxim De Cuyper; Carlos Baleba, Yasin Ayari; Yankuba Minteh, Matthew O’Riley, Kaoru Mitoma; Georginio Rutter.

  • Fulham: Bernd Leno; Kenny Tete, Joachim Andersen, Calvin Bassey, Timothy Castagne; Sander Berge, Sasa Lukić; Harry Wilson, Joshua King, Alex Iwobi; Raul Jiménez.

TipMan Prediction

Fulham Double Chance – with recent head-to-head dominance and strong pre-season momentum, Fulham look well placed to at least secure a draw.

Leg 2 – Championship

16 Aug 15:00 – Bristol City v Charlton Athletic(Championship)

Venue: Ashton Gate

Broadcast: Live audio available bet365

 Match Overview;

 Following an impressive pre-season which saw Bristol City gain wins against Newport County, Plymouth Argyle and Real Valladolid, Gerhard Strubers side have certainly hit the ground running in their opening two competitive matches of this season. The Robins inflicted a comprehensive 4-1 rout over Sheffield United at Bramall Lane in their opening game of the Championship and then the west country outfit registered a solid 2-0 home win against MK Dons in the 1st round of the EFL Cup in midweek.

Charlton Athletic also grabbed all three points in last weeks opening game of the English second tier season as they recorded a 1-0 home win against Watford upon their return to the Championship and then followed that up with a 3-1 home win against Stevenage in the EFL Cup. However, this will be Charlton Athletics first away game in the Championship in over five years and The Addicks face a tough proposition in Bristol City at Ashton Gate.

Team News: Bristol City are set to be missing Joe Williams, Cameron Pring, Luke McNally, Max Bird and Max OLeary through injury but nevertheless, Gerhard Struber may revert to last weeks starting XI against Sheffield United here.

Charlton will be without the services of defender Reece Burke and forward Matty Godden, while new signing Charlie Kelman is set to lead the line for the visitors.

Predicted Line-ups

  • Bristol City (3-4-2-1): Radek Vítek (GK); George Tanner, Zak Vyner, Rob Atkinson; Ross McCrorie, Jason Knight, Adam Randell, Yu Hirakawa; Anis Mehmeti, Scott Twine; Emil Riis Jakobsen.

  • Charlton (4-2-3-1): Thomas Kaminski (GK); Kayne Ramsay, Lloyd Jones, Amarii Bell, Josh Edwards; Greg Docherty, Conor Coventry; Robert Apter, Harvey Knibbs, Tyreece Campbell; Charlie Kelman.

TipMan Prediction

Bristol City Win – their potent offense and Charlton’s away rust make City the stronger bet at Ashton Gate.

Leg 3 – League 2

16 Aug 15:00 – MK Dons v Cheltenham Town (League Two)

Venue: stadium:mk

Broadcast: Live audio available bet365

 Match Overview;

 After having had to endure an abject campaign last season in League Two culminating in a poor 19th place finish, MK Dons fans will be feeling quietly confident about their teams chances in this seasons fourth tier campaign under new owners and new coach, Paul Warne.

The Dons have produced a solid start to this new fourth tier campaign, picking up four points from their opening two games thanks to a 0-0 draw with Oldham Athletic and a 2-0 win away from home at Barrow, and the hosts have picked up some key attacking signings during the summer.

In contrast, Cheltenham Town sit third from bottom in the early League Two table having suffered back-to-back defeats at the hands of Cambridge United and Chesterfield respectively, although the visitors did manage a 2-0 home win against Exeter City in the 1st round of the EFL Cup in midweek.

However, Cheltenham Town lost 11 of their 23 away games last term in League Two and this upcoming encounter against MK Dons looks a tough assignment for Michael Flynns side.

Why This Acca Stands Out

This isn’t just a random Saturday treble — it’s built on a mix of proven trends, tactical match-ups, and early-season form that gives us an edge over the market.

  • Form Momentum: Each selection features a side riding a strong run of results or showing sharp pre-season performances that translate into competitive matches.

  • Favourable Head-to-Head Records: Historic results point in our favour, with certain teams consistently avoiding defeat or dominating their opponents.

  • Squad News Advantage: We’ve factored in key injuries, suspensions, and likely starting XIs to back teams in a position of strength.

  • Balanced Risk & Reward: A combination of solid favourites and smart-value double chances keeps the overall price appealing without relying on high-risk longshots.

It’s a blend of Premier League quality, Championship home advantage, and League Two reliability — the kind of mix that’s delivered for TipMan in previous seasons and is primed to do so again this weekend.

TipMan’s Verdict

This Saturday’s treble is a carefully balanced mix of value and reliability, targeting matches where the stats, form, and tactical landscape are firmly in our favour. Fulham’s consistent record against Brighton makes the Double Chance a smart opening leg, Bristol City’s early-season sharpness and home advantage look ideal for the second, and MK Dons’ improved squad should have too much for a Cheltenham side still finding their feet.

It’s a combination designed to give punters a realistic shot at a solid return without relying on risky long shots. At combined odds of 4.5/1, this acca offers the right blend of safety and upside. exactly the type of bet we look for at TipMan when building weekend multiples.
