Dark Trooper is stepping up into group company here, but it’s well deserves as he’s on a 4 timer. He likes the track and ground, and is well drawn. There isn’t much pace, but if he follows Garrus he is sure to be coming there swinging late on.

Quinault has been one of the stories of the season, rising through the grades to win some brilliant big prize handicaps, including here at Ascot. Race doesn’t look any stronger than previous assignments and we know he stays this trip well based on his pedigree, he’s just very very difficult to dismiss.
