Apollo One looks an obvious contender for each way bet considering the lengthy run of placed efforts. Been narrowly denied far too often of late and just needs a bit more luck to get deserved win. Good high draw here at York and will have no problems with the conditions, he’s overdue a win and today could be his day.

Bosc girl has showed some steady improvement this season with a fourth then third and followed by a good second last time out over course and distance. Can take another step forward here and Ryan Sextons 3lb claim could prove valuable. Open looking race but he’s one of the more likelier types.
